While attending art school in Savannah, Georgia, Jason developed his extremely melodic style in a series of improvisational bands. He went to Atlanta to pursue a career in custodial arts, but succumed to drinking due to the intense pressure associated with the job. He was snatched from a dumpster by S.M.O. and committed to The Pondhouse.
